How One News Can Change a Life

In a loud and crowded office, there was once an infamous newspaper company owned by a rich owner named Mr. Bond. Every time there’s news, Mr. Bond is hungry for a good result on his newspaper. This time his company is currently on a rough time where they can’t find bizarre, newsworthy, and exciting stories around town. After a few weeks finding news Mr. Bond decided to hire a special someone that can find bizarre news in no time. An hour later a stranger walk past the office leading him to Mr. Bond small, vintage, and messy office. Turns out it was a enthusiastic stranger who wanted to work there. Then after a few moments later that so-called stranger is called Jimmy. Jimmy told Mr. Bond that he’s the type of guy that Mr. Bond’s company needs.  Jimmy convincingly told Mr. Bond that he could find good, fresh, and gold news in just a short time. Turns out Mr. Bond accepted Jimmy and gave him a three months trial just so Mr. Bond can see Jimmy’s progress.

A new busy day for Jimmy has come. It’s Jimmy’s first day of work. He walked to his new work place, which is near by his house. It’s 10:35 AM and it’s Jimmy’s first and risky assignment, Jimmy needs to find one amazing and shocking news alongside with a picture for the company to have. This is a risky first assignment from the company because if he succeeds the company will be back on track and if Jimmy couldn’t find single news well, the company will be facing way more serious issues towards the society of the town. Jimmy’s on a roll, he’s out in the streets attempting to find amazing and extraordinary news. It’s so loud and polluted until Jimmy couldn’t find anything good on the streets, so he tried to make up his own news. Jimmy started to find tons of plastic bags around the streets for his extraordinary news. About thirty minutes later Jimmy is finishing up his “masterpiece”, Jimmy throws plastic bags on to the river just so it looks like the society did it. He took only one picture since it was too smelly and flies are buzzing near the river is surrounding it. Later that night Jimmy slammed the office door and shouted that he finds an extraordinary, gold, and newsworthy story that just happened earlier that evening. He went inside his boss office saying that he found news. A couple minutes later Jimmy started to type on his rusty computer about his extraordinary and fresh news. He puts in the headline for the news as “Society vs. Earth”. It’s 11:00 PM Jimmy is sleepy. Jimmy finally gave Mr. Bond his piece of work. Mr. Bond reads the news as it’s shocking him. The thing that he doesn’t know is that the news that he’s reading now is filled with disgusting hoax, which somehow he was pretty convinced that his news is real. So then it was officially published on Mr. Bond’s company’s newspaper.

Two days later Mr. Bond’s company throws a party for having Jimmy working in his company and also finally having single news that has been officially released. Jimmy was so relieved that he’s able to find such amazing “news”. Shortly after that an employee heard someone knocking loudly on the door. Eventually when the employee opens the door it’s a crowd full of signs saying, “Mr. Bond’s should end his cheap company”. Mr. Bond was curious about the noisy sound on the door so then he checked it. He fainted a little. Mr. Bond is finally awaken and being left alone at his house. His house transformed from a flashy, loud, and fun into a messy, silent, and creepy looking house, since every employee has left.

Mr. Bond took a “day-off” because of what happened four hours ago. Tomorrow has arrived; Mr. Bond is making sure that he’s fine and not sick. He stood up to his car and drives it to his office. He then arrived at his office. He was shocked. His company is burnt down into a dark, flaming, and ugly office. Mr. Bond can already tell from two days ago that the citizens are doing some kind of protest about his company lying about the “issue” that the citizen created. Mr. Bond looked down with tears dropping from his eyes. But then he saw this paper with huge writing. So then he picked it up with his shaky hand. Turns out it was a writing with a picture of Jimmy smiling using his geeky glasses. It says, “About the news, I lied! –Jimmy”. Mr. Bond was filled with anger, tears, and revenge all over his mind. Then he talked to himself that he should just go home by now and think what is he going to do with the company. He simply just went home and by the time he’s in his car Mr. Bond started to think what he’s going to do with the company, it was only his bright future. Mr. Bond finally went home and he also got an idea. He’s thinking that maybe he can close down his company. He’s an old man anyways so why would he continue his company from the bottom again. Eventually the final decision of him and his company will be just closing down his company because that’s the only way it would work.

Six months later Mr. Bond was poor and out of money. He started to sell his house and he joined an average nursing house. At first Mr. Bond was not feeling comfortable here because suddenly he just started to think about his old company. It started to gave him a heart attack. Mr. Bond then went out from the nursing house with tears dropping from his watery eyes. He grabbed his sleeping pills and he consumed all of the small and white sleeping pills so then he can sleep for eternity and never wakes up.
